I was tasked to develop an original chair design that showcases individual style while being visually stunning, appropriate for manufacturing, and suitable for mass production.
I identified a style to follow, coining it as "Modern-flow" a combination of three key elements, Modern, Flow, and Rigid. Inspiration was derived from the calligraphy of Eastern culture.
Re-Designed for failures identified with prototyping. Rubberized back rest mounts, contoured surfaces for more comfortable seating. Refined hardware solutions for manufacturing.
